Job Description

​​Infrastructure Logistics provides safe and reliable flatbed and float trucking services throughout Ontario. By meeting and striving to exceed all industry training and safety standards, Infrastructure Logistics is an organization that you can trust with all your heavy equipment and load transportation needs.Job SummaryReporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver responsibilities include pick-up and delivery of various construction products throughout Southern Ontario (primarily the GTA). You will be required to performamp; record all trip inspections as well as comply with documentation requirements.Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial trucks, including Roll-Off trucks and tractor trailers, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.
  • Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize efficiency.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating commercial vehicles.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to cargo or equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or safety violations to management promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering cargo on time and in good condition.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or concerns.
  • Represent the company professionally and courteously while interacting with customers and the public.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels, inspecting tires, and performing minor repairs.
  • Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to maintenance staff or supervisors for timely repairs.
  • Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to share information, coordinate tasks, and support teamwork and collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience operating Roll-Off and Tractor Trailer trucks
  • Machinery hauling experience
  • Current and valid AZ Driver’s Licenseamp; Clean Abstract
  • Must be able to supply a current, valid (CVOR)
  • Strong ability to follow instructionamp; updated knowledge of various routes in throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Professionalism and excellence in customer service
  • Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and highly safety conscious
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekend as required as well as ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Knowledge of load securement
  • Experience assisting with manual labor responsibilities
