This is a Permanent Full-time Role.Cascadia Metals is actively seeking candidates for the Night Shift - CTL Operator position to work out of our Edmonton branch. Experience in machine operator, forklift and overhead crane an asset. Responsibilities:

  • Cutting material to specified length following close tolerances
  • Set up and maintain all operations on flattening and levelling machines
  • Inspecting and gauging material during processing
  • Using various forklifts and lifting devices
  • Placing and expediting orders for stock and entering related data efficiently
  • Checking output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws and keeping related records
  • Maintenance of activity logs
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a machine operator
  • Forklift experience
  • Overhead crane experience an asset
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Strong understanding of machinery processes
  • Experience implementing work orders and following SOPs
  • Ability to conduct basic mathematical operations using scales, tape measures, and micrometre
  • Reliable means of transportation
