Our Technician will be responsible for installing communications infrastructure and devices, including electronic security systems, audio visual devices, wireless networking, unified voice communications.Though based in Edmonton, interprovincial travel may be required.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Installation (including pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) of CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion systems and devices; service and maintenance of such as required- Support, lead, and mentor team members- Design systems and layout- Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork- Perform other tasks as required- Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of two (2) years #39; experience with integrated security systems- Able to work independently- Strong interpersonal skills- Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Valid Driver #39;s License with clean abstract- Bonus: Project Management experience- Bonus: Customer Service/Stakeholder engagement- Bonus: Estimating- Bonus: Training of junior staffTo learn more about the Integrated Security Solutions at Paladin Technologies, please click here (https://paladintechnologies.com/solutions/integrated-security/) .Company Info:Paladin Technologies is a premier North American complex systems integrator for building technology solutions, including IP security, alarmsamp; monitoring, audio visual, low-voltage infrastructure, and networking.
