This key leadership role represents an excellent career opportunity for the right individual. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for P amp;L, operational leadership, and growing our well-established transport and civil/structural businesses in the Canada market. Parsons talent in this division encompasses rail/transit, road/highway, bridge/tunnel, and water professionals. The projects are comprised of both conventional planning/engineering/construction administration/owner #39;s engineer services and alternative project delivery. We are a market leader in Canada and are looking for candidates who have exceptional leadership, communication, and business acumen that will help set the vision for future growth. In addition to the operational oversight of the region, your focus will be to help further diversify the client and project base of the division. This position calls for someone who is experienced in market strategy and is well connected and respected within the transportation market in Canada. In addition to the operational oversight of the region, your time will be spent developing key relationships, driving proposal strategies and overseeing project delivery. Our portfolio includes some of the most notable projects and clients in Canada and our continued success in delivering their vision depends greatly on this important position. This position can be based in any Parsons Western Canada office locations.Qualifications- 4-year degree in related field and 20+ years of broad and diversified transportation experience.- Canadian Professional registration and active membership in a professional society is also required.- Demonstrable experience meeting operational business goals and strategizing on market development.- Considerable experience in client management, proposal strategies and pipeline development.- A combination of Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build experience is ideal.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 75 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
