Job Description

In less than a decade, Magnum became one of the leading solutions for primary and remedial cementing services in North America. Now poised to also serve our customers’ soil stabilization, vac and water, and downhole tool needs, Magnum is well-positioned to provide expertise in all the services that we offer.Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, the Document Control Coordinator role assists with providing technical support to the Manufacturing, Fabrication and Maintenance departments. Responsible for maintenance of complete and accurate records required in eMaint operation of Magnum Services. This includes classifying, cataloging, storing, and retrieving documentation generated by the engineering department personnel. These documents are provided to those who require them in a consistently accurate and timely manner. In addition, the employee performs diversified and specialized clerical, statistical or semi-technical assignments where experience and judgment are required to understand the purpose of the procedures, its relationship with previous and subsequent operations and where accuracy and detail is essential.Job ResponsibilitiesDocument Control

  • Data entry.
  • Classifying and consolidating data from various sources, forms, charts, schedules, etc., to produce reports of technical nature within eMaint.
  • Maintaining, cataloging, updating, and distributing bills-of-material, engineering action requests, customer orders, document change requests, engineering change notices, part numbers, item masters, prints/drawings and deviation records. Requires a variety of techniques including computer input, manual posting and typing.
  • Reproducing prints and documents, issuing new or latest revision drawings or specifications and distributing controlled documents to each department as required.
  • Document Standardization and creations as required.
  • Cataloging updates and maintaining engineering library for department reference.
  • Cataloging updates and maintaining eMaint library for department reference.
  • Maintaining a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures quick and accurate retrieval of documents.
  • Filing as needed.
  • ISO support as needed.
  • Performing special projects as assigned.
  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
General
  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Regular contact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
  • Other related duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequired:
  • Information and Records Management Certification or equivalent training preferred.
  • Basic understanding of business math and office systems.
  • Proven proficiency with MS Office suite (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of eMaint, AutoCAD®, SolidWorks, and ePDM a plus.
  • Creativity, initiative, detail-oriented, results-driven.
  • Personal motivation for success.
  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and electrical systems and components.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
