Nursery Sales Representative and Shipping CoordinatorEagle Lake Nurseries Ltd. is an established company that has been a leader in the Prairie nursery industry for over 50 years. We are a full-service wholesale supplier of nursery stock to the landscape, construction, and garden centre markets. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative and Shipping Coordinator to join our team, in a highly diverse agriculture company with a proven record of success. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our products, coordinating and processing customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely shipments, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be innovative and forward-thinking, and who is eager to grow and develop their skills.Responsibilities:· Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and identify potential new clients.· Present products to clients in an informative and persuasive manner.· Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with clients.· Manage and monitor sales orders and ensure that they shipped accurately and on time.· Provide after-sales support to clients, including answering questions and resolving any issues that arise.· Monitor client satisfaction and work to address any concerns.· Stay up to date with developments in the horticulture industry, including new products, plant varieties, and market trends.· Communicate industry developments to clients and use them to inform sales strategies.· Participate in trade shows and events to promote products and build relationships with potential clients.· Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate shipments.· Prepare shipping documentation, loading copies, including packing lists, delivery location information, and other required paperwork.· Communicate with customers and carriers to provide updates on order status, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.· Prepare and keep accurate records and reports of sales and shipping activities.· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to find sales opportunities and support customer retention efforts.Requirements:· Formal business and horticulture training would be an asset.· Sales experience and willing to learn shipping coordination.· Excellent communication and organizational skills· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.· Strong computer skills including MS office and ability to quickly learn industry specific programs.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.· Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.· Willingness to travel as needed to visit customers and attend trade shows.· Valid Class 5 driver’s license.Salary is negotiable.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $22.00-$26.00 per hourBenefits:
