Job Description

Manage day-to-day operation of a distribution warehouse and maintain certifications.

  • Manage day-to-day inventory receivables.
  • Manage timely delivery’s to customers.
  • Assure location’s inventory is optimized to meet customers’ requirements, while maintaining appropriate turns.
  • Assist in managing the location’s warehouse and administrative workforce
  • Provide a safe work environment.
  • Maintain necessary training.
  • Assure environmental compliance is always maintained.
  • Assure that all employees are trained to respond to environmental issues.
  • Assure all employees have appropriate training to maintain certification and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure that all standard operating procedures are followed and that the location can pass internal and external audits.
  • Ensure the property is maintained, safe and clean at all times.
  • Perform maintenance and upgrades on site.
  • Maintain and Ensure all Equipment is operating safely and properly.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operation of the business.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years management experience.
  • Post Secondary Education is an asset
  • Experience in Agriculture is an asset
  • Local Knowledge of potential customer is an asset.
