Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure and materials requiredAssemble, erect and dismantle scaffolds, knowledge of rigging and hoisting equipment.Installing glass panes following the installation manual procedures.Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products on walls, ceilings or exteriors of buildingFabricate aluminium frames for glass installationInstall, fit, fabricate and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial and residential buildings in collaboration with a glazing systemInstall field unit or glass panels into an aluminium curtain wall system or aluminium curtain wall facadeReplace glass in various productsPrepare and install skylights in residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projectsRepair and service residential windows, commercial aluminum doors and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealant (cross out)Other duties that applyRequirementsFive or more years of experience as a GlazierSolid understanding of Glass installationEmployee works independently on general assignmentsAbility to work safely and within safety guidelinesRigging certification is preferredManlift Certification is requiredBenefitsExtended Medical and DentalRRSP matching up to 3K after 2 years.Please apply directly to this websitegt; gt; gt; https://jobs.immigrate.biz/job-board/jobs/537/glazier/surrey-bc
