Closet and Window Coverings Installer - Delta Closets/Budget BlindsDelta Closetsamp; Budget Blinds is a leader in designing and installing custom closets, wall beds, home and garage storage systems, and window coverings throughout the lower mainland. We are a small team who are enthusiastic and really enjoy what we do. We like to make things fun and take pride in “wowing” our customers with our quality and service.We are looking for a Closetamp; Window Coverings Installer who be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This will start as a part time job but we expect this will become a full time position in the 1st Quarter of 2025.Reporting to the Salesamp; Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Perform closet and window covering installations and ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of closet systems.
• Install closet systems and window coverings in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial spaces.
• Communicate regularly with Salesamp; Operations manager to provide updates on project progress and identify any issues that may arise.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve installation processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and workspaces.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise during the installation process and acquiring 5 star google reviews and customer referrals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in carpentry or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in closet and /or window covering installation.
• Be a punctual, reliable self starter, who takes pride in their work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
• Solid understanding of building codes and regulations related to closet installations.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Valid driver #39;s license and reliable transportation.
• A criminal record check may be required.

Delta Closetsamp; Budget blinds are based out of Surrey, near Cloverdale. You will be provided with a company vehicle to operate between the Surrey shop and the installation location. We are offering $20.00 - $40.00 per hour to the right candidate. We also provide extended health and dental coverage.Come join our team and we’ll grow our business and industry reputation together!
