Job Description

Since 1972, Primex has provided rental accommodation to almost 3,000 families and individuals in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan. Our in-house cross-functional teams include acquisitions, development, construction, marketing, leasing, and property management. With almost $ 1 billion in assets under management, and 150+ staff province wide, Primex is a leader in the development and operation of multi-family residential rental housing in BC.We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations at one of our key rental communities in Surrey, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at leading teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to prospective residents.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all leasing operations for a key residential rental community in Surrey.
  • Drive leasing activity to meet or exceed occupancy goals, using data and team performance metrics.
  • Ensure all lease agreements are accurate, compliant, and executed in a timely manner.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries from prospective tenants and management within 30 minutes during business hours as per company policy.
  • Provide clear, consistent reporting to management on leasing performance, activity, and trends.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns and outreach strategies tailored to the local market.
  • Contribute to the execution of on-site marketing efforts including signage, resident events, email campaigns, and social media engagement.
  • Ensure leasing materials, listings, and digital content are accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of available inventory, pricing, and community features to support the leasing team.
  • Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act and uphold company service standards.

  • You have a solid understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • You possess excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • You are capable of exercising tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality at all times.
Education and Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant residential leasing or sales experience.
  • Previous experience in residential property management, considered an asset
  • Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal.
