Irving, Limited is currently seeking SEED ORCHARD WORKERS for the Parkindale Seed Orchard in Parkindale, NB. If you #39;re enrolled in a forestry program, or thinking of a future in forestry, this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of silviculture practices and gain exposure to all aspects of forest management. • Working at heights (all safety training will be provided)
• Participate in Controlled Mass Pollination/Breeding program
• Tree care activities including mowing lawns, weed trimming, pruning, and planting
• Cone Picking
• Working outdoors most of the time

Qualifications:

• No experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in a forestry program, although not required, would be an asset
• Hardworking and reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to work outdoors
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Flexible availability including weekends if necessary
