Job Description

SUMMER STUDENT NURSERY WORKER (April 2022 to August 2022)J.D. Irving, Limited is currently seeking Summer Student Nursery Workers for the Sussex Tree Nursery in Sussex,181 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB. This position will primarily be located inside our state of the art labratory with some outdoor work required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Selecting emblings from germination trays and inserting them into plugs
  • Weeding, moving pots, planting trees
  • Consolidation of plants
Qualifications:
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Hardworking with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work in a face paced ever-changing environment
Terms of Employment:
  • Seasonal (April - August 2022)
  • Full-Time
  • 40 Hours/week
  • Morning/Day shifts
  • Steel-toed boots required
