Job Description

We are looking to grow the team across the Sydney Metro, Sutherland and Bankstown areas with individuals who have a can-do attitude. Do you enjoy physical work Have a willingness to learn and thrive working outdoors We might have the role for you!What is the roleTypically, you will need to travel to reach work sites with opportunities to live away from home. Reporting into the Supervisor, you will need to be able to efficiently and effectively trim and dismantle trees by using complex climbing techniques, whilst ensuring safe work practices. You will also occasionally need to operate an Elevated Work Platform and cut, trim and remove trees.This is an opportunity to work outdoors in a small team with good work ethic, using well-maintained equipment and state of the art technology.   • Full time permanent role
  • All PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and uniforms provided
  • Base salary between $74,000 - $80,000 + superannuation
  • 8-hour shift from 7.00am to 3.30pm (9 day fortnight)

Do you have
  • Relevant qualification plus at least 2 years of experience OR at least 3 years of Arborist experience
  • Chainsaw operation qualifications/training
  • A current and unrestricted drivers’ licence
  • Elevated Work Platform licence/ticket or willingness to obtain one
  • An MR/HR class driver’s licence (desirable)
  • The ability to work as part of a team with a mature outlook and good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work away from home when required
