Job descriptionFrom simple tasks to major home renovations, our experts can help you every step of the way. If you have as much passion to help Home Owners with their projects as you do your own we would like to hear from you. We put customers first and are always willing and able to help.As a Yard Associate you are friendly and efficient. As a team member you help our customers to the best of your ability. Working outside in hot/cold temperatures and physical labour is a requirement for this position . From plywood to drywall, you could do it all.Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work up to 35-44 hours per week during weekdays, evenings, weekends and some holidays, (position not intended for students attending school during the day).
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds on a daily basis (lifting drywall)
  • Ability to understand store procedures and policies
  • Willingness to learn and expand with company developments
  • Ability to work cooperatively in team atmosphere
  • Maintain a positive attitude, while executing excellent customer service and communication skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Actively seek out and offer a friendly greeting
  • Ask open ended questions to be able to determine their needs and find a solution that the customer finds satisfaction with.
  • Be enthusiastic with the customer and show compassion when appropriate to do so
  • Thank the customer each and every time.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management
  • Willing to participate in seminars, webinars, training sessions and meetings to expand your knowledge
  • Complete all Health and Safety Training as required
  • Be able to build loads for our delivery drivers.
  • Be a team player
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance to all safety legislation
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentRanging from 15.50 to 16.50 .Depending on experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $15.50-$16.50 per hourBenefits:
