Job Description

  • Assist with setting up office furniture/simple plant devices
  • Assists in the maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  • Keep shop clean by mopping floors, vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture and fixtures as required
  • Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, mirrors toilet seats and toilet fixtures
  • Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed
  • Empty all waste baskets and all plant garbage cans daily
  • Keep outside doors area clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
  • Clean sinks, table tops and counters
  • Sorting through shop trash e.g. recyclables, metal, salvageable etc
  • Perform routine scheduled maintenance of plant including but not limited to painting and yard maintenance (cutting the lawn, weed whacking etc)
  • Performing tasks that involve hanging of bulletin boards, pictures, coat hooks, and necessary items used in the shop, common areas and offices.
  • Cleaning equipment and work-spaces.
  • Any other duties as requested by management
General Labourer:
  • Cleaning and caulking bow arms
  • Assembly carriers, rear braces
  • Putting away stock
  • Punching and debarring punch clips
  • Any other general duties as requested by management.
