Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, the successful incumbent will operate multi-function process control machinery or single function machines to process and package vegetable products. This position requires following a continental schedule on 12 hour shifts.Main Responsibilities:Operates multi-function and/or single functions process control machinery through control panels, computer terminals or other control systems to mix, blend, and package vegetable food productsControls process start up and shut down and performs trouble shooting to resolve problemsMakes adjustments to processing variables such as ingredient inputs, fill weight, flow rates, line speeds, and temperature settingsPrepares equipment for maintenanceEnsures conformance to quality assurance standardsEnsures proper operation of packaging line machines as per SOP’s and in accordance with Good Manufacturing PracticesMaintains shift logs of production and other dataParticipates in safety audits, food safety programs, and emergency responseQualifications:College education in a related field or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in a food processing environment is an assetMust be capable of speaking, reading, and writing English at a Level 3 requirementMust have a high level of mechanical aptitudeYou are able to troubleshoot and problem solve in an effective mannerYou are able to work in a temperate and / or refrigerated environmentYou are able to work 12 hour shifts and follow a continental scheduleProven ability to work effectively as a teamMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legsDemonstrates work place safety is a priorityAlthough all job applications are taken into consideration, only the selected candidates will be contacted.Bonduelle is committed to Diversity and Inclusion and aims to create a healthy, accessible and rewarding work environment which highlights employees’ unique contributions to our company’s success.As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications from all represented groups in order to build a diverse workforce which reflects the diversity of our customers, and communities, in which we live and depend on.The masculine is used without discrimination and only to lighten the text.
