Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager and working within established quality assurance guidelines, the incumbent is responsible for leading and training QC team members, monitoring testing and processes, providing continuous support to the QC team, and reporting findings.Main Responsibilities:Collect all relevant paperwork from previous shiftCollect/organize usage cards from tote room driversCollect micro samples AND library samples, organize library samplesPackaging daily plant tourVerify metal detectors, package sealVerify package and shipper codes, art copyVerify Bar code scannerFirst off /changeover checksPerform Bucket test (verify individual components of mixes on the line)Perform package tear downs (verify individual components in the packages)Attribute test/recheck- adherence to specificationsFinished product quality sheet- collect sample and cook/tasteVerify OFS log is completed correctlyRoom temperature and lighting/glass condition verificationPre-operational inspection for equipmentPerform microbiological and allergen swabsMonitor for GMP concernsQualilfications:High School diploma requiredPrior experience in a quality related position considered an assetAbility to work together with multiple teams and drive action to troubleshoot and correct quality related concerns.Detail oriented in training and monitoring quality test procedures and results in multiple departments.Good working understanding of the procedures for required quality testing in Bulk, Packaging operations.Work in mainly hot and cold environments.Good knowledge of MXP, Bluebee for Quality information.Good computer skills.
