Job Description

Busy Reputable Construction Company looking for full time purchaser.Responsibilities & Experience : These duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing inventory levels and placing purchase orders for building materials. Drywall, wood, siding, tools etc.
  • Assisting sales staff with updated product pricing and product selection when needed.
  • Create, and track inventory all products.
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors.
  • Communicating to sales staff all product changes, shortages, wait times and arrivals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Recent purchasing experience in building supply industry very much an asset.
  • Construction knowledge– residential and or commercial experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and extremely organized.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent computer/software program skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work with a team and independently.
  • College diploma or equivalent.
*Must be available Monday to Friday, steady days, must have own transportation. Not located on a public transit route.*Wage depending on experience.Job Type: PermanentSalary: $14.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
