Job Description

The General Labourer/Spray Foam Insulation Applicator will be responsible for the timely coordination of installing spray foam insulation in homes, commercial buildings, etc. to the required specifications. Full training will be provided.Responsibilities:

  • Make necessary preparations for the insulation installation process at jobsite by unloading equipment & placing items in the location where they will be installed
  • Survey job site and take steps to prevent and protect against spray foam insulation overspray
  • Understand the proper operating procedures of the spray foam insulation application equipment. Learn spray foam insulation spraying techniques from other spray foam team leaders in the company
  • Survey electrical and security wiring and secure them as necessary before spraying any spray foam insulation
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent and/or repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. over shoulder height
  • Climbing and the use of ladders and scaffolding
  • Requires stamina to work extended hours
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Needed:
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as operate as part of a team
  • Ability to demonstrate a respectful and professional demeanor at all times with strong
  • May be required to wear respirators with cartridge filters
  • Basic knowledge of the insulation business and/or 1 year prior related experience helpful but not necessary
  • Valid driver license required: G & reliable mode of transportation (own vehicle preferred)
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to read, speak and write the English language.
  • High school diploma or GED
Assets:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Spray Foam Applicator
  • 2 references that can vouch for punctuality
