Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will benefit from the skills and knowledge of an experienced warehouse team who are committed to continuous improvement. This is a fast paced perishable vegetable products environment where the Forklift Driver will apply their proven track record of success in material handling, computer inventory, and space optimization. Days and hours of work will fluctuate with operational demands.Main Responsibilities:Provide coverage for forklift drivers as well as move to various areas depending on production needs.If not needed for forklift coverage, you’ll resume your position as packaging general labourer.Safely operate a forklift to pile and take down bulk product up to six pallets highSafe loading and unloading of both dry and frozen freightEnters data using computer inventory management systemUses handhelds and truck mounted scanners to support pallet transfers from one location to anotherPerforms daily forklift safety checks including battery changing procedures and using proper personal protective equipmentOrganizes materials and supplies for shift start and properly stacks/stores left over materialsCommunicates tote needs and tote issues to immediate supervisor and quality controlQualifications:Previous forklift experience considered an assetStrong safety frame of mind with demonstrated safety in job performanceWillingness to help in all areas of the Warehouse, Packaging, Bulk, etc. as requiredAbility to simultaneously manage a variety of work tasks and prioritiesWilling to fill other driving positions within the facilityGood communication, decision making and troubleshooting skillsPossess a continuous improvement mind setAlthough all job applications are taken into consideration, only the selected candidates will be contacted.Bonduelle is committed to Diversity and Inclusion and aims to create a healthy, accessible and rewarding work environment which highlights employees’ unique contributions to our company’s success.As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications from all represented groups in order to build a diverse workforce which reflects the diversity of our customers, and communities, in which we live and depend on.The masculine is used without discrimination and only to lighten the text.
