Position type SeasonalThe Town of The Blue Mountains is a growing and progressive, four-season community with stunning natural features, including the Niagara Escarpment, Beaver Valley and the Georgian Bay shoreline, and the various recreational activities and experiences they afford. Position Overview:The Tomahawk Clubhouse Operator is responsible for the day to day clubhouse operations such as organizing tee times, organizing groups and handling green fees and memberships.Responsible for opening and closing of the facility.A critical function of this role is to act as an ambassador for the Town in dealing with the public and display a positive image at all times. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a team environment.Minimum 2 years of experience in a golf course or parks preferred.Minimum high school graduation.Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.You can work shifts, including nights, weekends and statutory holidays as per schedule and in inclement weather.You have knowledge of and the ability to apply and interpret relevant regulations, acts, policies and procedures (i.e Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, etc.).CPR and First Aid Training is an asset.Able to work with minimal supervision, follow and carry out instructions.You possess proven communication skills to respond to general information requests from internal and external clients.Interpersonal skills to deal with fellow staff & customers and to provide clear information.
