Job Description

Bruno #39;s Contracting (Thunder Bay) Limited is a heavy civil construction group with over forty years of experience in heavy civil construction, road building, asphalt paving, materials production, and demolition.We are currently welcoming applications for Truck and Coachamp; Heavy Duty Mechanics capable of fulfilling the following requirements:JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnosis and repair various issues relative to trucks and heavy equipment
  • Perform tests on units to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance and service on units
  • Maintain necessary documentation and records pertaining to servicing and repairs
  • Ensure all work is being completed in a productive and safe manner
  • Other duties as assigned
SKILLSamp; OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous truck and/or heavy equipment mechanical experience is required
  • Basic understanding of heavy civil construction operations and processes is preferred
  • Trade certification is strongly preferred
  • Physically fit, capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Valid driver #39;s license with clean abstract
  • An ambitious individual with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
