Job DescriptionJob Purpose: As a Lead Bartender with Long Beach Lodge Resort, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our West Coast dining experience. Your warm, personal attention, and knowledge of our outstanding F&B offerings makes guests of the Great Room feel welcome and valued.Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way· Consistently offer professional, friendl and engaging service· Ensure the highest level of service by exceeding guest expectations to build loyalty· Making cocktails; pouring beverages; prepping for service; stocking bar; carrying out opening and closing duties· Provide food and beverage service to your patrons dining at the bar.· Committing to guest satisfaction through consistent follow up on all guest issues; delivering outstanding guest service recovery· Provide ongoing feedback to bar and service team to help them improve service and develop their skills· Related training and development for floor service team· Maintenance and cleanliness of bar· Provide food and beverage product knowledge· Practice responsible alcohol service· Cash out and reconcile cash with total sales· Other duties as assignedQualifications: · A secondary school diploma is preferred· Previous food and beverage experience in a fine dining establishment· Team culture mentality· Excellent communication skills required· Professional appearance and attitude· Excellent customer service skills· Comprehensive knowledge of fine food, cocktails, wines, and service· Cash handling experience· Time management skills· Previous Point Of Sale system experience an asset· Knowledge of safety and sanitation process when handling food & beverage· Serving It Right certificationWorking conditions: PM service 40 hours a week, 4 nights a week summer season.Physical requirements· Constant standing and walking throughout shift for up to 8 hours· Able to lift and carry objects, up to 25 lbs· Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting· Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $17.00 per hourBenefits:
