We offer seasonal cooking, with local ingredients, which creates an exciting and fun West Coast menu that speaks for itself. Our menu includes handhelds such as burgers and ciabattas, fresh and local fish and chips, tacos, poutines, soups and salads. If living and working on the coast interests you, please send us your resume.Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per weekJob Types: Full-time, PermanentNumber of positions: 3Language: English is used in this workplace.Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly.Expected start date: As soon as availableBenefits: medical and dental coverage to start after probation period completed.Schedule: Typical shifts could be on weekends or evenings. Candidate must have flexibility in availability, as mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays are all required.Work remotely: NoJob Duties:

  • Preparing and cooking meals, dishes, sauces, and sides.
  • Kitchen operations.
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Assist in cleaning kitchen and work area with kitchen staff.
  • May assist Manager or Owner with the planning of feature menus, determining size of food portions, estimation of food requirements and costs, and monitoring and ordering supplies as necessary.
  • May train kitchen staff as requested by Manager or Owner.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • completion of secondary school is required.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • 1 year of cooking or food handling experience (preferred).
  • 3 years of related experience and/or related education in the industry (preferred) .
  • Food Safe certificate (preferred).
  • Be able to deliver excellent customer service to our guests.
