Together we deliver the highest service standards in an engaging and supportive work environment.Discover why working at the Wickaninnish Inn will transform your career and give you an opportunity to explore the Pacific Northwest.Description du poste: Join our Administration Team as a Human Resources Administrator where you have the opportunity to learn and grow in a Relais & Chateaux property also recognized as an AAA 4-Diamond Resort and T&L Worlds Best Hotel.The HR Administrator plays an active role in fostering our unique culture and supports in all aspects of Human Resources across all departments.Objectives:

  • Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux and AAA 4 & 5 Diamond standards;
  • Lead by example and be a pro-active member of the Human Resources Team of the Wickaninnish Inn;
  • Administer the group health benefits and wellness program;
  • Maintain HRIS modules within Dayforce;
  • Post job vacancies on various websites as required;
  • Screening and review of incoming resumes;
  • Creating and maintaining employee start-up paperwork packages;
  • Create monthly reports such as Departmental HR summaries and various tracking sheets;
  • Attend and participate in monthly Health & Safety meetings and assist with Worksafe BC claims;
  • Assist with other Human Resources related items, such as, but not limited to, Staff Housing, employee email and distribution lists, computer user accounts, First Aid validity and schedule, seminar/training attendance lists, employee Facebook group, Memos and Announcements, Handbook maintenance, and liaise with Accounting on payroll related functions;
  • Relief Accounting duties, such as, but not limited to: due backs, payroll, project reports, and other tasks as required;
  • Maintenance of Staff Room food/supplies;
  • Preparation for job fairs (in person & virtual) and facilitate in the event Director of HR is absent;
  • Monitor and replenish First Aid supplies for the Inn;
  • Facilitate Employee Orientation in the event that the Director of HR is absent;

  • Description du profil: Previous administration experience an asset;
  • Ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required, and working knowledge of Dayforce is an asset;
  • Strong Human Resources skills are required; oral and written communication skills, ability to connect with employees, and ability to follow up with employees efficiently; sound judgment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously are necessary; initiative
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays;
  • Accounting experience or general familiarization an asset
  • Ability to make 2 year commitment in this position
  • As a term of employment, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required.
