Job Description

Epic Pharmacy, located in Tofino, BC, is looking for a Operations Assistant who is fluent in English to join our team!We are an independently owned and operated Pharmasave retail pharmacy. We have established a dynamic and evolving health centre with a strong focus on patient care, natural medicines, active living, travel health, and our community.Our team enjoys an excellent work life balance.   • Responsible for overall guest experience & pharmacy/health centre reputation.
  • Available either Wednesday to Monday, or Friday to Wednesday for shifts
  • Knowledge and understanding of general operations and inventory.
  • Ability to be self directed, reliable, tech-savvy.
  • Meticulous, close attention to detail.
  • Performing general maintenance around the store.
  • Tendering and framework contracts with suppliers.
  • Developing strong communication and connection between Front Store and Operations.
  • Present a professional and charismatic presence.
  • Complete patient or client care in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Assist in ensuring retail pricing is done appropriately and invoices are received accurately.
  • Lead inventory monitoring and stocking.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of pharmacy/health care centre (i.e. maintenance, cleanliness, customer service, daily correspondence, and inventory).
  • Ensure accurate data entry of client information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
  • Basic understanding accounting principals and budgeting tools
  • Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, invoices and purchase orders
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • One to two years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be fluent in English.
  • Ability to communicate regularly and openly with team members in a professional and personable manner.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, problem solving, multitasking, being proactive, and working independently.
  • Computer skills, including google drive/email experience and cashier experience
  • Strong customer and client service skills.
  • Highly detailed and well organized.
  • High level of moral judgment for handling confidential information.
  • Patient oriented and supportive while delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Must have secure and permanent housing.
