To fully capitalize on its potential as it continues to grow and evolve, the owners are now seeking a President & General Manager (GM) to drive the property’s strategic and operational growth.The President & GM will be tasked with a highly entrepreneurial mandate to build TRM into a year-round destination resort in Tofino with world-class guest experience, standards, and operations. Responsibilities include developing a long-term vision and strategy for the business, driving operational excellence and guest services to upgrade the hotel from a 3-star to 4-star experience, expanding and executing on broader sales and marketing activities, overseeing capital project planning for future development, and promoting talent attraction and retention, and greater collaboration across the organization.The ideal candidate will be an experienced business leader and hospitality executive with broad leadership and management experience from a similar hospitality operation. A creative flair for creating exceptional outdoor and hospitality experiences will be important. The successful candidate will have experience in strategic planning, capital projects, guest experience and a track record of developing culture and collaboration across teams and departments. The candidate will possess strong financial and business acumen and the ability to work with a team of committed owners who are keen to invest strategically in the business.
