As a Welcome Ambassador at Long Beach Lodge Resort you play a key role on welcoming our guests, you will be responsible for controlling and guiding the arrival process for guests and staff at the Lodge entrances, ensuring only authorized guests and staff are on property and to coordinate with various areas of the hotel to ensure public area occupancies are maintained.Create an overall warm and inviting luxury atmosphere for all of our guestsWelcome, control, and guide guests and staff entering and leaving the resortInform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activitiesCommunicate and partner with Guest Service Agents & Surf Club to ensure preparation for arrivals and surf lessonsMaintain required documentation for arrivalsMaintain awareness of any undesirable person in the resort and report if necessaryPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements/Qualifications:Speak with others using clear and professional languageDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with othersAbility to work outdoors, standing for long periods of timeEager and focused to exceed guest expectationsAbility to maintain all COVID-19 operating regulations/standardsAbility to work independently with little or no supervisorWorking conditionsFlexible, must be willing to work a variety of hours, including days, nights, as well as weekends and holidays based on the business needsPhysical requirementsConstant standing and walking throughout shift for up to 8 hoursPhysical ability to lift and carry heavy suitcases and other itemsKneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending stairsJob Application Process:Qualified applicants should submit cover letter, resume and references to marianne@longbeachlodgeresort.com
