ResponsibilitiesWise Employment have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join their client at Torbay Council on a fixed term 10 month contract. Full time, Monday - Friday, Based within Torquay Council or Hybrid/ Remote Working. £10.59 - £11.69/hour depending on experience. As an Assistant HR Business Partner , your duties will include: Coordinating all FOI requests for the department, ensuring that they are responded to as necessary and drafting FOIs for final sign-off. Day to day administration for the Councils external HR contracts such as: Occupational Health, Counselling, Agency, E-learning, training and apprenticeships. Ensuring that contracts like the above, perform within agreed KPIs and service level agreements. Escalating any issue as and when appropriate. Working with senior HR colleagues to ensure the appropriate procurement of external HR contracts. Acting as a co-ordinator of the tender process. Working with senior HR colleagues to regularly review HR service contracts. Co-ordinator apprentice levy applications, to review new applications and seek approval from Workforce Development Board. Regularly update the Councils online Digital Apprenticeship Account to ensure that all apprenticeships are managed and recorded accurately for levy payment purposes. Maintaining the Councils ongoing commitment under the Disability Confident Scheme and Mindful Employer. Supporting recruitment campaigns, such as apprenticeships, student placements and traineeships. As an Assistant HR Business Partner , you will have: CIPD Level 3 or above. Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent. ECDL, MOS or equivalent IT skills, desirable. Coaching qualification, such a ILM, desirable. Experience of researching, developing and drafting new/key information to support HR processes and initiatives. Experience of creating, developing and amending e-learning content and using e-learning systems. A commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Ability to travel around the Bay/South West UK in order to carry out duties. Ability to accommodate occasional/ permanent home working.
