Job DescriptionThe Role:

  • As an Audio Visual Meeting Room Technician, you will be a key player in delivering an exceptional collaboration experience to both virtual and in-person meetings.
  • You will need to balance your technical expertise with excellent customer service skills, as you will be providing in-person support to senior management and external business partners, as well as virtual support to users throughout the office and region.
  • You are naturally curious and resourceful, willing to seek out solutions independently or by consulting with subject matter experts. Your friendly and reassuring presence will help you build strong relationships with senior clients and colleagues.
  • You will aim to ensure that everyone can engage well, feel well looked-after, and focus on their everyday tasks. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential to succeed in this role.Accountabilities:
  • Providing prompt response, assessment and resolution to assist with L1 and L2 AV incident resolution in accordance with service levels. Ability to connect to, manage and diagnose potentially defective hardware and escalating to service technicians and facilitating on-site response when L3 troubleshooting and engineering support is required.
  • Delivering white-glove (in-person, hands-on) support to a small user base for on-site support of meetings and meeting rooms on an as-needed basis.
  • Documenting events and communications associated with service incident response in designated incident-management tools.
  • Conducting routine inspections of meeting rooms to ensure they are ready for use.
