Job DescriptionOur Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Project Manager of Credit Risk within the Consumer Credit Cards division.Reporting to the Director of Retail Payments, this role will play a critical role in driving growth and success in the consumer credit card business.The successful candidate will amalgamate and assess impact and value to prioritize credit risk initiatives based on acquisition and underwriting policies, parameters, and strategies, to deliver resilient business growth and profitability.The Details:

  • Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (3 days per week onsite required)
  • Duration: Approximately a 12-month consulting project with the possibility of extension

What you’ll do:
  • Prioritize, plan, and drive the various credit risk initiatives in the consumer credit card business.
  • Serve as a bridge and work with various stakeholders including product, risk, technology, marketing, operations, and compliance, to successfully execute projects, including escalation and issue resolution.
  • Support development and implementation of initiatives around underwriting strategy, pricing segmentation, and credit line assignment/increases.
  • Develop credit strategies tailored to acquisition channel and card type. Partner with business segment product owners to optimize acquisition targeting/marketing campaigns.
  • Develop a governance and control framework for business and implementation of initiatives.
  • Provide progress reporting and analytics on key metrics to enable status monitoring and data driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and teams to identify areas of opportunity and spearhead initiatives to enable profitable growth, while minimizing credit risk exposure and adapting to the changing economic and regulatory environment.
