Salary: $100,000-$145,000 Strategy
  • Prepare and execute the organization’s sales plan and related budget, ensuring integration of the 1,000-day, 300-day, and 100-day strategic planning process to achieve company growth and revenue goals.
  • Lead and develop the sales team to deliver their highest potential and exceed sales goals in concert with our strategic plan while maintaining a happy and engaged team.
  • Partner with the Director of Revenue to evaluate and drive all business tactics, packages, group rates and more to maximize revenue streams to the hotels and restaurant.
  • Evaluate and recommend opportunities for developing new sources of business in all market segments to broaden our customer base.
  • Remain informed of the competition’s sales and marketing strategies and counteract effectively to secure maximum business for our hotels and our company.
Development
  • Lead with empathy and embrace our LEAD WITH LOVE approach, focusing on the whole person, not just the work person.
  • Direct and manage all sales training, yearly sales targets, and all other sales-related organizational learning to ensure an effective sales team and sales mindset across all properties.
Guest Experience
  • Ensure delivery of guest service through Operations to exceed customer expectations.
  • Measure our client NPS numbers and collaborate with Operations and Happiness Hub (our reservation centre) to maintain a high NPS for our clients.
Administration
  • Ensure the maintenance and efficiency of our sales technology. We use Zoho, N2Pricing and more.
  • Works seamlessly with the Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Reservations management teams.
  • Maintains regular and effective communication with all hotels and ROAR while working with Operations and the VP of Marketing, Communicationsamp; Sales to bolster opportunities.
  • Leads the coordination efforts with local and provincial tourism initiatives to ensure we are leaders in the industry.
  • Active community ambassador in the communities within which we work.
What You Bring
  • A rich background in the hotel industry with experience in senior sales management.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree is an asset.
  • Understanding of how Revenue Management strategies are implemented in hotels/hospitality.
  • Knowledgeable in data analysis.
  • Excellent communications skills - interpersonal, written, presentations, etc.
  • A proven record of results-oriented leadership and team development.
  • Well versed and comfortable with MS Office, Property Management systems and other sales software.
