Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an expert-level Anaplan Developer to join our IT Department, aligned to Finance Transformation initiatives at MUFG Investor Services. The ideal candidate will be a key part of the Analytics team that was established as part of the strategic expansion and long-term transformation of the finance function and will have extensive experience and deep expertise in Anaplan model development, lifecycle management, complemented by skills in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for data integration and visualization. Key Responsibilities

  • Key member leading with all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, Model building, driving UAT and implementation for MUFG’s Anaplan based Forecasting tool
  • Maintain and enhance the financial reporting structure in Anaplan based on requirements given by Finance team
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex Anaplan models for financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. Assist with the optimization of the Anaplan models, reduce sparsity and enhance performance
  • Enhance overall forecast/plan governance to ensure that the process is operationalized and executed in a consistent manner every time, provide stewardship to address cross-functional governance issues
  • Provide technical leadership on Anaplan projects, including architecture design and best practices implementation
  • Integrate Anaplan with other systems using Microsoft Fabric for seamless data flow
  • Create insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize Anaplan outputs
  • Mentor junior team members on Anaplan development and best practices
  • Ensure data accuracy, model performance, and security within Anaplan
  • Working with the Financial planning and analysis team, using the agile development delivery approach and follow scrum process.
  • Create best in class software testing procedures and system documentation
