Job Description

A growing organization in the natural resources sector is seeking a Hyperion Systems Analyst to join its corporate finance systems team. This role is ideal for finance professionals with hands-on experience in enterprise performance management systems who enjoy blending technical acumen with business insights. The position offers exposure to a global user base and provides opportunities to lead projects, support system users, and drive enhancements across budgeting, planning, and consolidation platforms.About the RoleReporting to a senior systems leader within the group finance function, this role supports and develops enterprise planning and reporting applications. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders in operations and head office functions to optimize forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes across the organization.What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and enhance planning and consolidation systems used for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Support financial system users across multiple regions through training and Help Desk support
  • Develop and manage business rules, reports, and data mappings across performance management tools
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to evolve system capabilities and reporting functionality
  • Lead or support projects involving application upgrades, module rollouts, or system integrations
  • Uphold change control protocols and ensure compliance with audit and internal control standards
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems, documentation, and best practices
  • Coordinate updates to e-learning content and training materials
  • Partner with reporting and FP amp;A teams to align system development with business needs
What You Bring
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; CPA designation preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supporting financial systems, ideally within a global organization
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and consolidation tools, including writing business rules and managing reporting packs
  • Familiarity with SmartView, Ad Hoc Analysis, and integration tools
  • Strong project coordination or project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support a diverse user base
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
