Job Description

This is a remote position.**Canadian Residents Only**Candidates need to be able to obtain Canadian Reliability clearance (Canadian Citizen or 5+ year perm resident)OverviewOur Client is seeking an experienced IFS Functional Consultant with expertise in Asset Management. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of IFS modules related to maintenance, work order management, and acquire-to-retire workflows to help clients maximize the value of their assets. You will work closely with clients to design, configure, and implement tailored solutions that enhance asset performance and lifecycle management.This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in IFS Asset Management modules and a passion for delivering impactful ERP solutions that drive operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesIFS Asset Management Expertise:

  • Provide in-depth functional expertise in IFS modules related to Maintenance, Work Order Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, and other acquire-to-retire workflows.
  • Design and configure solutions to optimize preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and asset lifecycle processes.
Client Engagement:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their asset management processes, challenges, and long-term goals.
  • Develop tailored solutions using IFS Asset Management functionality to address client-specific needs and improve asset performance
Solution Designamp; Configuration:
  • Configure and implement IFS Asset Management modules, including setting up equipment hierarchies, maintenance plans, and work order workflows.
  • Assist clients in optimizing asset tracking, lifecycle management, and maintenance planning using IFS capabilities.
Project Delivery:
  • Support the implementation of IFS Asset Management modules as part of broader ERP projects, including process design, data migration, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget while ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Training and Support:
  • Conduct training sessions for client teams to ensure effective use of IFS Asset Management modules.
  • Provide post-implementation support to address issues and fine-tune solutions as needed.
Skillsamp; QualificationsMust Haves:
  1. 3+ Years as an Asset Management and Maintenance Functional Consultant in IFS on implementation, upgrade or large optimization projects
  2. Expert understanding of general Asset Management and Maintenance processes within medium and large business (Acquire-to-Retire, Inspect-to-Maintain, Plan-to-Perform, Monitor-to-Optimize, Failure-to-Resolution, Design-to-Operate, Request-to-Repair, Predict-to-Prevent )
  3. Skilled with Configuring Basic Data within IFS modules
Professional Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as a functional consultant in ERP systems, with a focus on IFS Asset Management modules.
  • Proven experience with asset lifecycle processes, including maintenance planning, work order management, and asset acquisition/retirement.
  • Strong track record of configuring and implementing IFS Asset Management modules in real-world scenarios.
Technical Expertise:
  • Deep knowledge of IFS functionality related to Maintenance, Work Order Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, and associated workflows.
  • Ability to configure and optimize asset hierarchies, maintenance schedules, and acquire-to-retire processes.
Asset Management Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, asset tracking, and lifecycle management for medium to large organizations.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance workflows and KPIs.
Consulting Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex asset management requirements into practical ERP solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.
Project Collaboration:
  • Experience working in cross-functional project teams, including technical consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deliver solutions in a fast-paced consulting environment.
