Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Industrial Maintenance Milwright, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment at our organic processing facility. This role also involves overseeing and leading the daily maintenance activities carried out by both Veolia personnel and contractors. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be expected to perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of the site #39;s various equipment by Veolia standards.Main Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, install, replace, troubleshoot, and diagnose various machinery and mechanical equipment, including centrifuges, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic presses, dewatering presses, belts, and fans, utilizing tools and spare parts provided on-site;
  • Disassemble machines and repair, replace, or adjust parts as needed. Clean and lubricate equipment, parts, and machinery;
  • Maintain equipment in proper operating condition;
  • Provide expert advice on troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment maintenance-related issues;
  • Organize required parts for specific maintenance activities.;
  • Work from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, or verbal instructions to install equipment according to diagram specifications;
  • Ensure that all necessary maintenance is completed in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Complete work orders as required and ensure appropriate follow-up communication;
  • May be required to perform machine operator duties on occasion;
  • Assist co-workers with any questions or issues regarding task completion.
