As a key member of the Rhythm Canada field-based team, the Medical Science Liaison will serve as a trusted scientific partner to the medical/scientific community and will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders nationally within the field of neuroendocrine diseases such as hypothalamic obesity, monogenic obesity, and Bardet-Biedl syndrome. This role will report into the Medical Director, Canada.This position requires a strong scientific background as the individual will be a credible source of clinical/scientific data to Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), practicing clinicians, professional societies, and payers. They will leverage KOL relationships by identifying collaborative opportunities that align with internal stakeholder strategies. In this role, the individual will also support research initiatives, advisory boards, and other scientific exchange activities to support the Rhythm Canada Medical Affairs medical plan and strategies.This role will be field based, and is national in scope Candidates need to be located in the Greater Toronto or Montreal area, have access to airports, and be available to travel as necessary (upward of 50-75%+).Responsibilities and Duties
