Job Description

Job DescriptionMLSE Digital Labs is seeking a highly motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join the Digital Labs team. This individual will be primarily working on the development and management of applications and will be reporting to the Engineering Manager for Applications.Position Type: Freelance 12 Month Contract

  • Develop and deploy application solutions using modern DevOps practices and security standards.
  • Build performant and highly available multi-tenant applications that scale easily to millions of users.
  • Establish standards and maintain a department-wide body of knowledge on engineering.
  • Participates in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives.
  • Mentor and lead junior-level engineers throughout the application delivery process.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Infrastructure and Application Engineering to define metadata layers, align on technical strategy, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provides high-level sizing estimates of new development work.
  • Design and implement test automation solutions for application testing.
