We empower businesses with reliable and scalable technology infrastructure.As an Senior Cloud Architect (Microsoft Azure focus) you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cloud technology use for our clients. In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud environments for our clients, insuring secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. You and the perspective and experience you bring will also play a critical role in pre-sales activities, collaborating with our sales team to develop cloud strategies that are tailored to meet client needs. This individual contributor role has the opportunity for grow into a technical and/or team leadership role as the Cloud team scales.Given the nature and stage of our business and our client base we’re looking for someone who will be comfortable working from the company headquarters in downtown Toronto on a regular basis.Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Architectureamp; Deployment: Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments for clients, ensuring best practices in security, compliance, and performance.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized cloud solutions that align with their goals.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client meetings, including solution demonstrations, scoping, and proposal development.
  • Monitoringamp; Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain Azure environments,ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.
  • Securityamp; Compliance: Ensure cloud environments meet industry compliancestandards and implement security best practices.
  • Collaborationamp; Knowledge Sharing: Work alongside other architects, engineers, and technical teams to share knowledge and continuously improve cloud service offerings
  • Documentationamp; Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Qualificationsamp; Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Experience working in aManaged Services (MSP) or consulting environment.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Expert knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to cloud solutioning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments, migrations, on-premises to Azure.
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
