We understand that it’s our people that make us great.Role SummaryAs a Senior Power BI Consultant, you will bring extensive experience using Microsoft Power BI to translate business needs into easily understandable reports and visualizations. Working with clients and other team members, you will responsible for gathering requirements from the client for development, testing and implementation. This work will give you a chance to leverage your experience using Microsoft Power BI and dig deep into various data sources to obtain a better understanding of any organization. You are often leading solutions and providing support to other team members.Major Areas of Responsibility

• Develop a deep understanding of the business needs and the data challenges of the clients’ organizations and their industries.
• Conceptualize, design and implement MS Power BI solutions from the existing data warehouse, and other enterprise data sources.
• Assist the BI Architect and often design logical and physical dimensional data mart models.
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards for deployment in Windows/ Web-based environments in accordance with predefined detailed report specifications.
• Conduct unitamp; integration tests, assisting in test preparations to ensure data integrity, data quality, and program functional completenessamp; correctness.
• Leverage and extend processes aligned to data visualization best practices (as defined or adopted by the client) and standards, ensure quality (Alignment to form, fit and function).
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts.
• Make essential technical and strategic changes to optimize Power BI environments.
• SQL querying for better results.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for colleagues, as well as procedures for end users.
• Participate in the development of project plans to establish appropriate workload expectations and schedules

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 5+ years of experience in a Power BI Developer, or similar data-related role, developing sophisticated solutions and uncovering actionable insights.
• Solid experience with DAX, M and SQL languages.
• Experience with Ms Power BI Dataflows, DAX studio, SSRS and SSAS
• Ability to create reports with large data sets and visualization tables for Business Intelligence needs.
• Practical knowledge in Ms Power BI service architecture design and administration, defining roles and security.
• General knowledge in Data warehousing, including data source analysis and profiling, as well as Relational DBMS.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to present ideas and recommendations to various stakeholders.
• Experience in programming, scripting, automation and customization initiatives.
• Critical thinking capabilities and a consultative mindset.
• Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or related.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other BI tools
• Experience with the Azure data platform (e.g., ADLS, Synapse, ADF, Databricks etc.)
• Agile delivery methodology, DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment concepts and methods
• Prior experience in consulting
• ERWIN or another data modelling tool is an asset
