Our recently launched Sesame Platform extends our mission by providing financial institutions with a turnkey AI-powered credit intelligence solution.We’re looking for an innovative and adaptable Senior Data Engineer to partner with our Analytics team to help us drive both growth and user acquisition. This team member will help move data into centralized locations and dashboards to help decision-making across the business.   • building new ETLs to move across data systems;
  • managing and scale existing ETLs;
  • designing databases and database tables;
  • building and manage container-based APIs;
  • consuming available APIs to orchestrate data capture flow.
You’ll make an impact because…
  • you are a well-rounded data engineer (infrastructure and ETL experience);
  • you have experience with implementing data quality controls and metrics;
  • you have experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, experience with AirFlow is a plus;
  • you have experience working with AWS cloud;
  • you have the ability and desire to wear multiple hats (build/maintain infrastructure, author ETLs, troubleshoot/address production environment issues);
  • you have worked with moving large data sets;
  • you understand the privacy and sensitivity of the data we work with;
  • you’re a self-starter who can operate with little guidance and close out issues without waiting to be asked;
  • you’re skilled at diving into data to both identify correlations and derive inferences;
  • you’ve learned new technical skills on your own and are savvy in finding the right search terms;
  • you’ve had experience with data mapping/cleansing/processing;
  • you have a Bachelor #39;s degree or equivalent.

At Credit Sesame, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Credit Sesame’s equity plan.
