Job Description

Job DescriptionThe main role of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide support to operations through budgeting, reporting and project financial analysis.

  • Coordinates and attends monthly project forecast review meetings
  • Review project forecasts and identifies areas of concern, ensuring accurate and thorough forecasts received from project teams
  • Finalizes district work in progress schedules
  • Initiates the close out of projects, ensuring all items are finalized and accounted for
  • Reviews district MRE and G amp;A actuals on a monthly basis, correcting any miscoded items and flagging items of attention for the District Managers review
  • Assists the districts management team with completion of quarterly MRE and G amp;A forecast reviews
  • Prepares a monthly summary of operation (SOP) report for each district, reviewing with theDistrict Manager prior to submitting for consolidation
  • Works with the District teams to develop reporting as needed to support the teams growth and assist them in monitoring KPIs
  • Provide support to other operational shared service teams such as Safety, VDC and SSG,
  • Assist the Operational Accounting Manager with ensuring all time allocations are submitted for each district, providing reporting on employee’s recovery rates
  • Provide support to larger, more complex projects such as Joint Ventures and IPD projects
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Operational Accounting Manager
  • Supports continuous improvement within the accounting team
  • Monitor and support accounts receivables by ensuring bills are submitted in a timely manner, T amp;M audits are complete and accurate, report on missed or late bills.
  • Monitor and support accounts payables with the review and approval of invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review and approve all over head expenses for the district
  • Ensure Chandos processes and procedures are being followed
