Role OverviewAs a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be a linchpin in bridging customer success with engineering excellence. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across product, engineering, BD, and external partners to deliver technical solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs. This includes onboarding key large-scale initiatives and providing front-line technical support for customers.You’ll thrive in this role if you’re an adaptable problem-solver, excellent communicator, and passionate about helping customers succeed with sophisticated technology in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.What You #39;ll Be Doing

  • Lead technical onboarding of DNAstack solutions by gathering customer requirements, designing tailored implementations, and coordinating timelines across teams.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing hands-on support, advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring the long-term success of active deployments.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and onboarding guides, deliver training, webinars, and workshops to support scalable customer adoption and internal knowledge-sharing.
  • Support sales and business development efforts by delivering product demos, leading proof‑of‑concept engagements, contributing to RFI/SOW responses, and validating feasibility of custom requests.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer teams to improve solution delivery, influence roadmap decisions, and close experience gaps.
  • Advocate for operational excellence by identifying ways to streamline processes, maintain technical standards, and scale services across customers and projects.
What We #39;re Looking For
  • 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Technical Support role.
  • Strong communicator able to translate between executive, scientific, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with modern cloud infrastructure and tooling:
    • Public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Bash
    • Python/Jupyter Notebooks
    • REST APIs, SQL and relational databases
    • Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Datadog
  • Eligibility to obtain Canadian security clearance (required for select public‑sector projects).
​​​​​​​Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with secure data sharing platforms, clinical research environments, or data curation.
  • Experience working directly with public sector or healthcare clients.
  • Ability to write or maintain ETL/data scripts and contribute feedback to product teams.
  • Experience with genomics or health data is highly desirable.
