Foothills CountyUtility Operator (Turner Valley Location)Permanent, Full-TimeFoothills County encompasses a diverse rural landscape covering approximately 3,600 square kilometres located in the foothills of southern Alberta. Foothills County is inviting applications for a permanent full-time Utility Operator.The Utility Operator will perform a variety of skilled, technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the County’s Water and Wastewater assets including the SCADA system.This position is responsible for operating the water, water distribution, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment facilities. The position will also operate, maintain, troubleshoot and monitor all necessary equipment and structures and develop solutions to rectify any issues. As part of the Utilities Team, the operator will follow regular maintenance programs, procedures and schedules, provide accurate reports, complete testing and ensuring compliance with Alberta Environment.Minimum Qualifications:
