Job Description

The Maintainers are responsible for maintaining all NWT Housing Corporation owned and operated buildings and works in the community of Ulukhaktok. They work within the maintenance management program and perform all assigned duties as assigned by the Maintenance Foreman of the Ulukhaktok Housing Association in accordance with the job description such as but not limited to: preventative and demand maintenance on Public, Market and Help Units, complete work order forms, inventory checks and supervise apprentice.JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Trades Certificate or diploma
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must provide Driving Record Check (Abstract), Criminal Record Check
  • Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Plumber, Red Seal Oil Burner Mechanic
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience
Specific SkillsQualifications include: Certified Housing Maintenance Serviceman or equivalencies in one of the other building trades will be considered. Clean NWT Class 5 Driver license. Experience in the field of residential housing maintenance would be an asset.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $73,840.00-$76,960.00 per yearBenefits:
