Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a unique roll within our company. The selected candidate will be mentored by a senior project manager and will be trained to take over management of our small project division (3-300K). The successful candidate will:

  • Meet with clients to assess the scope of work.
  • Generate estimates for small projects.
  • Work with an estimator on larger projects during the tender process.
  • Issue purchase orders to sub trades.
  • Submit invoicing to clients.
  • Review invoices received.
  • Complete quantity take offs and order materials.
  • Act as a site supervisor when required.
  • Ensure that all health and safety requirements and policies are in place and monitored.
  • Provide hands on support required to get the job done when required.
  • Coordinate with sub-trades to ensure all work is in compliance with the contract documents..
We are currently working on projects in Peel, York, Simcoe and Durham regions. A company vehicle will be included in the employment package.Qualifications-Previous hands on construction experience is required.- A team player that can be dedicated to completing tasks with a positive attitude.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Customer service and experience focused.-Detailed understanding of elements within the ICI construction industry.-Knowledge of construction materials and systems.-The ability to read & interpret, working drawings and shop drawings.-The ability to perform quantity take-offs.-Must have proficient computer skills ex: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project.-Working well under pressure to adhere to project completion dates.-Drivers license.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
