Job Description

Intermediate-Senior Corporate/Commercial SolicitorLocation: Flexible location: Burnaby, Vancouver, or both, with hybrid and remote options available.A growing and highly regarded law firm in Metro Vancouver is seeking an experienced Corporate/Commercial Solicitor to join its team. This firm is recognized for its exceptional client service and innovative, marketing-driven business model, allowing its lawyers to take on significant files at competitive hourly rates. As a result, the firm offers above-average salaries and profit-sharing opportunities.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a technically skilled lawyer with strong client management abilities. A book of business is an asset but not a requirement—this firm’s established business model generates high-quality client work. Within six months, the expectation is that the successful candidate will manage a full caseload independently.Key Responsibilities

  • Handling commercial transactions, including contract drafting, business acquisitions and sales, due diligence, and commercial real estate matters (excluding residential transactions).
  • Managing corporate reorganizations, shareholder agreements, and general corporate maintenance.
  • Overseeing and managing files independently while also supporting the firm’s corporate clients.
What You’ll Need
  • A minimum of four years of corporate/commercial legal experience in British Columbia.
  • A strong work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff.
  • A commitment to providing top-tier client service and a motivation to build and manage a growing practice.
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
