Job Description

You #39;re looking for something exceptional! So are we!We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Remote Counselor to join our team! In this role, you will mainly be responsible for deliver top-quality mental health counseling to corporate clients. All while working in an remote environment!Remote Counselor duties and responsibilities

  • Utilize brief, solution-focused interventions to resolve the clients presenting issue
  • Ensure safety for clients who present at risk to harm self/others
  • Ensure that all clients are properly referred to long-term treatment, when clinically appropriate, utilizing their benefit plan and/or community resources
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all client contacts in the Zenovate system per established procedures and processes
  • Maintains clinical responsibility for individual, family and/or group counseling of clients.
  • Provides diagnostic assessments, treatment planning and completes necessary updates as required.
  • Provides effective and efficient management of caseload and transfers/discharges clients in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates satisfactory performance on identified outcome measures and client satisfaction reports.
  • Participates in program development as requested and where possible.
  • Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies, and demonstrates continued growth.
Remote Counselor requirements and qualifications
  • Master #39;s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required
  • Independent clinical license required
  • Experience providing direct clinical services and solution-focused therapy
  • Knowledge of treatment issues and EAP services
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and sound clinical judgment
  • Quick thinking, high energy, positive, and professional, with demonstrated multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
  • High-speed internet, quiet home office set up, and ability to take appointments telephonically or over video
  • Must have good documentation, treatment and assessment skills.
