Senior Cost AccountantVancouver, BC | Full-Time | On-Site $80,000 - $90,000/year + Bonus | Benefits Included Drive cost efficiency and financial clarity at the heart of a busy manufacturing operation. HireNow Staffing is seeking a detail-driven Senior Cost Accountant for a full-time opportunity based in Vancouver. If you #39;re passionate about inventory accuracy, cost control, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, this could be your next move.The Opportunity: As the Senior Cost Accountant, you #39;ll play a key role in how inventory is evaluated and reported. Working closely with operations, logistics, and finance leadership, you #39;ll help establish sound cost structures, support ERP development, and provide data-driven insights that influence planning and profitability.What You #39;ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and review month-end and year-end inventory cost evaluations
  • Ensure materials and supplies are accurately tracked and valued
  • Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving to align real-time costs
  • Lead inventory cycle counts and support audits with accurate documentation
  • Help implement and fine-tune inventory modules within the ERP system
  • Prepare cost analyses and contribute to financial reporting processes
What You Bring:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a cost accounting role (preferably in manufacturing or processing environments)
  • CPA, CMA, CGA designation, or active enrollment in a CPA track
  • Strong Excel skills with comfort handling large datasets and pivot tables
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory workflows
  • Clear communicator who can work across departments and explain financial data to non-finance teams
  • Problem-solver with a hands-on attitude and sharp attention to detail
Nice to Have:
  • Background in food production, seafood processing, or similar industries
  • Experience supporting ERP system implementations or upgrades
  • A team-oriented mindset with an eagerness to support operations
