Job Description

Job Title: Senior .NET Developer Location: Remote (Canada) Candidates must reside in Canada 6+ months10+ years neededAbout the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic and collaborative remote team in Canada. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.This role requires a strong foundation in backend development, a good understanding of frontend technologies, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, mentoring, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to define and implement new features
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
  • Develop and maintain APIs (RESTful/Web APIs) and integrations with third-party services
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and automation using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Mentor junior developers and help shape the team #39;s technical direction
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovations to improve system performance and development workflow
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development
  • Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET 6+
  • Solid experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server (or other RDBMS)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor)
  • Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Proficient with Git and Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
